Even though we’re Medicare experts, we’re excited to see some of our general interest content gaining so much popularity! The most-read article about the best podcasts for seniors continues to hold the top spot.

We also have several articles that have stayed on the most-read list, though they’ve moved around for 2019.

All-in-all, we’re excited about the articles that our readers are enjoying the most, so let’s take a deeper look into what they’re all about.

10. Mutual of Omaha Medicare Supplement Review

Just making it onto our Top 10 list is our review of Mutual of Omaha’s Medicare Supplement.

Starting in 2019, we decided to start offering thorough reviews of different Medigap companies, and it’s nice to know that our readers are enjoying that! We start out by giving a brief history of the company, information on the company’s rating, their available Medicare Supplement plans, and even how their prices stack up.

While other Medicare Supplement companies have slightly better rates here in Decatur, Illinois, that is always changing. Mutual of Omaha is an excellent company with lots of history, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

We’re not too surprised, because Medicare is a confusing beast! Even once you understand the basics of Medicare, there are still some little-known facts that you might have missed!

For example, did you know that most Medicare-related terms go by many names? Medicare Supplement Insurance is also known as Medigap Insurance. Original Medicare is the same thing as Medicare Parts A and B. Medicare Advantage is the same thing as Medicare Part C.

6. Does Medicare work with concierge medicine services?

We’re actually pretty surprised to see this article popping up on our list of most-viewed articles for 2019! We wrote this one several years ago, but alternative ways to get care are gaining traction in the healthcare space.

Concierge medicine, also known as direct primary care, is an alternative to the typical “fee-for-service” doctor’s office. Rather than pay a fee each time you visit your physician, concierge services require a membership fee.

A typical podcast is about 30 minutes in length, and there are a ton of different genres to choose from. Some highlights from the list include:

  • Planet Money, a podcast about money, economics, and the value of things.
